At St Joseph's, we work in partnership with parents. We're proud to have a strong sense of community and parental involvement in all aspects of school life. 

Our Parents and Friends Committee is actively involved in raising funds for the benefit of students, enhancing the profile of the school, and strengthening ties within the school community. 

The Committee meets face to face once each term in the school hall. These meetings provide an important platform for parents to assist the Principal in decision-making, and serve to promote social contact among parents. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings, and be a part of the St Joseph's community.

The Executive committee meets an additional four times a year, ahead of these general meetings. 

At the beginning of every year there is an annual election of office bearers for the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee roles include President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Their roles are to facilitate, coordinate and organise activities and events within the association.

Many parents volunteer to assist at our sports carnivals. These activities enhance the spirit of the school community and help to make everyone feel very welcome and involved at the school.

P&F Meetings 

Our school’s Parents and Friends Association is a well supported organisation that meets once a term in the school hall. 

The aim of the P&F is to promote the interests of the school by bringing parents, carers, staff, students, and community members into close cooperation, and to assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school.
